The Bonita Vista Football team will be working with Sweetwater Valley Little League to host the Martin Luther King Holiday Baseball Tournament. The Tournament will take place at the Sweetwater Valley Little League Facility during the MLK Holiday weekend on this coming Saturday, Sunday and Monday January 14, 15, and 16. This event will be a major fundraising activity for the Football program with the potential for raising thousands of dollars for our Football team. I need your help staffing the concession stand, preparing the fields for games and helping clan up the area after the games. The Tournament games are played from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. over the course of the three day tournament so we need both players, parents and friends of the program to help. If you are in interested in working in the concession stand please contact Kelly Coogan at 619-646-0837 and she can arrange a time that fits your schedule. If you would like to work the gate collecting admission for the event contact Booster Board president Mark Brisebois at 619-852-2936. Any football player or student can use the hours they work for Community service credit. I am also asking every Football player to volunteer their time. Generally we work in shifts of between 2-4 hours however we will work around your schedule. Please help make this event a success by donating your time and talents.
